  18. <p>     This time it's Mike Tyson's fortune he's seeking to reverse.
  19. Fabled Claus von Bulow miracle worker ALAN DERSHOWITZ has argued
  20. that the ex-heavyweight champ's 1992 rape conviction should
  21. be overturned, largely because the trial judge precluded a crucial
  22. line of defense, one that would have allowed attorneys to claim
  23. that Tyson truly believed his accuser, Desiree Washington, had
  24. consented to sex. Dershowitz also faulted the judge for blocking
  25. the testimony of three witnesses who would have stamped a pronounced
  26. question mark on the young beauty contestant's credibility.
  27. One claimed to have seen Tyson and Washington "necking" before
  28. the alleged rape took place. Boasts Dershowitz: "This is the
  29. strongest appeal I've had in 29 years of practice."
